Nadiya Delvois, a multi-sport athlete from Curtis High School, has committed to the University of Health Science and Pharmacy in St. Louis, Missouri. Nadiya has secured a remarkable yearly $25,000 scholarship to support her collegiate journey.
She started playing soccer at the young age of 4, then picked up lacrosse at 11, and finally, found wrestling at 13. In terms of achievements and awards, Nadiya has achieved a lot, including being ranked top 10 in the PSAL as a goalie, earned player of the game in lacrosse, and even won the 2023 PSAL girls (120lbs) city championship for wrestling.
When asked about her love and influences for these sports, she expressed her admiration for their gritty and fast-paced nature. And gives thanks to her mom for introducing her to the sports, helping her become better and rooting for her and her teammates.
As for college, Delvois made a great choice with the University of Health Science and Pharmacy in St. Louis. She felt that everyone there, from the coaches to the community, had her best interests at heart. It’s even more special that every time she stepped on campus, it felt like home. That’s the kind of environment that can help an athlete truly thrive.
As Delvois embarks on her college journey, she plans to continue her passion for wrestling and lacrosse, bringing her talent and determination to the collegiate stage level.
We wish Nadiya Delvois all the best in her future endeavors and have no doubt that she will continue to make us proud as a graduate!
