January 9th marked the championship game of the month-long boy’s physical education volleyball tournament, or as it has been renamed, The Neglia Holiday Classic. This yearly tournament consisted of teams coming from eight boy’s’ physical education classes, starting with a total of 36 teams, 4-6 in each class, and ended with the finale. This year the final was between the best team of fifth period against the best of the first period class. Even with the first period putting up a good fight, the fifth period, taught by Mr. Neglia and Mr. Gonzalez, were still victorious and won t-shirts advertising their win and the tournament itself. Be on the lookout for the upcoming Gonzo Cup, for the badminton tournament!
