The annual fall pep rally on September 14th honored fall student athletes. At the pep rally, every fall athlete and coach was recognized by having their name announced. Each athlete then ran through a corridor of cheerleaders. The entire school filled the bleachers and cheered on the athletes. The varsity and junior varsity cheerleaders gave a halftime dance performance and kept the energy and spirit alive throughout the rally. The school has ten varsity fall sports and two junior varsity teams. Each team was able to pick a theme song to run out to. The first team out was the girls soccer team because they had to travel to New Dorp for an away game. On the home front the pep rally coincided with the varsity football team’s first home game against James Madison.
