The Vampire Diaries an 8 season show originally aired in the year 2009 on CW originally based on a book novel series written by L.J smith. When Elena Gilbert meets Stefan her whole friend group gets pulled into the supernatural life. In this show there was drama, conflicts, love triangles, and shocking outcomes that make this show binge worthy.
With a 4.8 overall rating out of 5 this show was a very good hit. Not only was it a good hit with the main audience being tenagers it was also very likable with many adults and families. The Vampire Diaries was able to portray one main conflict within each season, my top conflicts and plots being, season 2 where they were the original family trying to break a curse that was placed to limit the powers the supernatural had. This show also features a lot of charter developments, relationships developments. One main character development was Damon Salvatore who in the first season was portrayed as the mean and evil vampire older brother who was self centered and didn’t care about anyone or anything. Through the season and as the seasons continued Damon became more loved and became a hero willing to give up his life for the ones he cared for and Ian did a really good job portraying him as an actor. There’s also relationship developments where Elena originally fell for the younger brother Stefan and in the end she fell for the older brother and the whole show there was the main idea of the love triangle between the brothers.
Although the Vampire Diaries is a very known show and loved there are many opinions out there and maybe this show isn’t for you. If you find a lot of teenage shows cringe or romance shows that are not your type then maybe this show isn’t for you. This show is mainly portrayed for audiences who love teenage shows as they could relate to them sometimes or audiences who love drama and high states shows. This show is also supernatural so if you like shows that involve the supernatural world then maybe this show is a good show for you to binge. The Vampire Diaries is more of a longer series so it would take a couple of weeks to watch it depending how long you watch for as many seasons include more than 20 episodes. Overall if you’re looking for a show to watch for a while that involves drama, romance, and the supernatural then watching it would be an option.
The Vampire Diaries originally aired on the CW. There is another option where you could see this TV series. Although one downside is to watch this show you do have to have a subscription in a platform in order to watch.
