That’s what Samantha wished for in the 1980’s movie “16 Candles.”  In the movie, all her dreams are shattered when she wakes up on her 16th birthday and realizes her family is so concerned with her sister’s wedding that they completely forgot about her birthday. What else could go wrong, right? Our main character also has to shake a nerdy freshman who has affection for her deeper than the sea, and try to win over her extremely hot upperclassmen crush.
